Heartless guild
Recruitment FAQ

Who is Heartless?
Heartless is a guild that was formed back in early burning crusade days and quickly rose in progression to be one of the top horde guilds on the server, having gotten through all hyjal and several bosses in BT.
Today we are still a very active guild with all current normal mode instances on farm.

What do we want to become?
We hope to get a core group of members once again who will be dedicated to raiding and will want to progress through the current content (both normal and hard modes) and rise back up to being a top guild on the server, while still having fun doing it of course.

What do we expect from you?
Of course we expect you to come to raids and help progress through content but there are other things we expect you to do as well to better prepare yourselves for raiding. An example would be to always personally improve yourself as best as you can, whether this be by farming mats for materials you need, or anything else to be more prepared. (including gems/enchants. Sad to say but we've had problems in the past so we need to put it here)
Also, we are hoping to recruit more mature players. This doesn't mean run away if you're under 18, but we find often that with the way our guild is run and whatnot, 18+ seems to be the better age group for our guild.

What is the gear requirement to join?
We expect everyone who wants to join heartless to have had experience up to and including at the least ToC 10 man. We also expect that you have been running heroics constantly to get all the triumph gear that you possibly can. Therefore, we expect people who want to join have at least an ilvl average of around 226. We also expect you to have done whatever you can to get the best gear you can have. This means running heroics/daily heroic for triumph/frost badges to obtain the best gear you can get. There is simply no excuse nowadays for you to be still wearing T7 if you want to be a more serious raider and wish to progress in content.

What is our looting rules?
In heartless, we run a loot council looting system. With this, we have our guild leader, clan officers, raid leader, and 2-3 raiders part of the council. The 2-3 raiders are rotated out every 1-2 weeks so the council is never the same. We try to be as fair as we can with our loot and make sure those who really need the upgrade the most receive the item.
There are times when we do not follow the “biggest upgrade” idea for some clear reasons. If a player does not have their current item enchanted for example would be when we would not consider them for the drop.

What will you be doing as a new member?
As a new member, you will be put on a 'probation' period where we will be more or less testing you out and seeing how you are in our raids. During this time, you will not be able to receive loot that someone else who is a member of the guild needs. This period usually lasts about 2 weeks, so long as you are active for all raiding days of those 2 weeks. You will then be promoted to an initiate where you will be eligible for loot that drops.

How will you progress in the guild?
The clan officer's will be taking notice of people who constantly come to raids fully ready on time, and doing whatever they can to better themselves for the guild. When they feel you have consistently done these things, you will be promoted to raider status.

This about sums up what we as a guild are looking for in our new recruits and what we expect to see from people who wish to join. We really hope to get more people who are dedicated to a “casually serious” raiding style and want to progress through all content while still having fun doing it and not wanting the game to feel like a job. If everything sounds good and you wish to join simply send an application on the website in and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. :)
